Art. 1 – The MTB Classic is a classic mountain bike sporting event. The MTB Classic is a competitive event that will take place on a 4.5km Cross Country circuit. The MTB Classic is organized by the Bike Catalunya Sports Club, within the Sea Otter Europe festival.

Art. 2.- The MTB Classic will have its official start on Saturday, 9/19/26 at 6:30 PM at the Super Cup Massi arch (in the green area of the Fontajau Pavilion) within the framework of Sea Otter Europe.

Art. 3.- Registration fee.

a) Registration opening and closing: Registrations will open on 06/11/2026 at 12:00 PM and will remain open until 09/18/2026 at 11:59 PM. Registration is personal and non-transferable and implies acceptance of all articles of these regulations.

b) Registration price: free. Registration includes: right to participate in the MTB Classic, entrance to the festival grounds, bib number, timekeeping (without chip, but manual timekeeping with classification), fully marked route, medical assistance (medical services and ambulance), bicycle washing area, commemorative gift of the race (souvenir) and refreshments upon arrival (liquid).

c) Bib number collection: 09/18/2026: 9:00 AM-7:15 PM and 09/19/2026: 9:00 AM-4:30 PM – Inside the Fontajau municipal pavilion. To collect the bib number it is MANDATORY to present your ID or NIE.

d) Registration method: Registrations will be made through the RockTheSport payment gateway. Registration is free, but participant registration will be required to insure them in case of accident.

e) Participant responsibility: Participation in the event is under the responsibility and at the participant’s own risk. The participant, at the time of registration, declares to be physically fit for the event.

Art. 4.- The organization will have a PMA (Advanced Medical Point) available during the event.

Art. 5.- The event must be done on a classic bicycle (bicycles prior to 1996, included). Otherwise, you will not be able to participate in the sporting event.

Art. 6.- The organization is not responsible for any accident that may be caused by or befall the participant, which must be covered by the accident insurance included in the registration.

Nor is it jointly liable for the expenses or debts that participants may incur during the event, nor for the losses or damages that bicycles or other equipment of the participants may suffer.

The participant exempts the organization from any responsibility for loss or deterioration of personal objects for any circumstance.

Art. 7.- The organizer guarantees full compliance with the regulations on the protection of personal data and, thus, in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, the participant is informed and gives their consent to the incorporation of their data into the existing automated files by the organizer and to the processing thereof for use in relation to the execution of administrative, commercial and other activities of its own.

Art. 8.- The organization reserves the right to make the appropriate modifications, when for some reason it deems necessary. Likewise, it reserves the right of admission.

Art. 9.- Image rights. The acceptance of these regulations necessarily implies that the participant authorizes the organizers of La MTB Classic to record all or part of their participation in it; gives their consent for their image to be used for the promotion and dissemination of the image of the event in all its forms (radio, press, video, photo, internet, posters, media, etc.), and assigns all rights related to its commercial and advertising exploitation that they deem appropriate to execute, without the right on their part to receive any financial compensation. This article also extends to photographs.

Art. 10.- The mere fact of registering for this event implies acceptance of these regulations and the waiver of all rights against the organization, also including the waiver of any legal action that may arise from their participation in the event.
